About Raymond

As a true product of Bell County, Raymond knows firsthand the challenges that families face and the power of community action. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Sam Houston State University, Raymond returned to his hometown of Harker Heights to invest in the community. Raymond worked as a small business owner, a public-school teacher (Killeen Independent School District), an infill builder/re-developer, and community leader. With eighteen years of experience in real estate sales and investing and over a decade as a small business owner, Raymond has developed a reputation of being a trailblazer in business and real estate alike. He is a creative thinker, effective problem solver, and skilled negotiator. Furthermore, he is a firm believer in small government.

As a candidate for U.S. Congress, Raymond Hamden is focused on enhancing the lives of Texans, securing our border, controlling government spending, and taking care of our military personnel and their families. District 31 deserves a representative who will fight for every county within the district to ensure that every voice is heard in Washington, ensuring the people of District 31 are not left behind, by creating policies that prioritize the needs of everyday people.

Raymond Hamden has a servant-heart along with a deep commitment to improving the lives of the people in Congressional District 31. He and his sixteen-year-old son Ryder reside in Temple, Texas. Raymond knows the value of educating our youth and making sure their future holds all the promise they deserve.
